You will need your prescription and your pupillary distance (PD). When placing your order, you can upload a photo of your prescription or if you already know your prescription, you can send us the details via email at hello@millerandmarc.com. Your PD is the distance in millimeters between your pupils, which helps us correctly center your prescription in your frames.

Once you have your PD, you can write it by hand on your prescription before taking the photo or send it to us at hello@millerandmarc.com.

We process orders very quickly, but we will do our best to accommodate any changes. The best way to modify or cancel an order is to call us at 912 98 93 98, Monday to Friday from 10 am to 7 pm.

You can check the status of your order through the link provided in the confirmation email of your order.

In this case, please place a separate order for each prescription. Shipping costs are always free, so don't worry, we won't charge extra for separate orders. Here we show you the only thing you will pay for your Miller & Marc.

To purchase Miller & Marc gift cards or sunglasses in quantities greater than 10 units, send us an email at hello@millerandmarc.com. We are happy to help!

Yes! We offer a wide range of lenses included in the price of the frame for Sphere values up to -8.0 (myopia) and up to +6.0 (hyperopia) and cylinder values up to -3.0 (astigmatism). Know your prescription by booking your free eye exam.

For higher prescriptions, we will make custom lenses for you at a fair price.

You have several options to obtain it:

  • Book a free eye exam in our stores.
  • If you have had your eyes tested recently, you can request your prescription from that place.
  • Make an appointment with your optician or ophthalmologist. If you have private health insurance, do not forget to check the nearby clinics with ophthalmology associated with your insurance.

If you place your order online, you can attach a photo of your prescription during the purchase process. Or you can also send us your prescription details by writing to hello@millerandmarc.com. Call us at 912 98 93 98 for any questions.

  • Single vision: these lenses correct vision defects either for near or far.

  • Progressive: with these lenses you can see near, far, and in between. This way, you don't have to keep switching between two pairs of glasses. If you want to know more about progressive lenses, click here.

Your PD is the distance in millimeters between your pupils, which helps us correctly center your prescription in your frames. Here is everything you need to know about your pupillary distance. If your optician or ophthalmologist did not include your PD in your prescription, you can measure it yourself using a ruler and a helper or a mirror. Don’t have a ruler? Print it here!

You can measure and provide your pupillary distance in two different ways:

  • Total PD (usual values are between 57 and 62 mm for women and between 59 and 65 mm for men).

  • The distance from the center to the left eye (O.I.) and right eye (O.D.) separately.

Once you are ready to review your cart, we will ask you to upload an image of your prescription along with your pupillary distance (PD); you can take a photo with your smartphone or scan it. If you do not have the physical prescription but know the details of your last prescription, you can also place the order and send us the details whenever you want via email at hello@millerandmarc.com.

In both cases, request that they indicate the pupillary distance (PD: distance between the centers of the pupils) along with your prescription to avoid having to measure it yourself.

Yes! To order reading glasses, select 'Reading Glasses' in the prescription section during the purchase process and you will only have to select the positive (+) value of your addition. It is not necessary to send us a photo or scan of the prescription, and there are no cylinder or Axis values.

All our lenses are organic, include anti-reflective and scratch-resistant treatments, and provide 100% UV protection. Learn more about our treatments here.

SUNGLASSES
Our sun lenses are CR39 organic lenses, made from the same material as our prescription lenses.

SINGLE VISION PRESCRIPTION GLASSES
Organic prescription lenses are included with the purchase of our frames starting from €94. Extra-thin lenses are included in the price of the frame for prescriptions up to -4.0 diopters of myopia, +4.0 of hyperopia, and -3.0 of astigmatism.

We have a flat rate of €229 for our progressive and progressive sun glasses. This includes:

  • Any frame from the collection.
  • Extra-thin organic lenses for prescriptions up to -4.0 diopters of myopia, +4.0 of hyperopia, and -3.0 of astigmatism. They are made with the latest generation Free Form technology, providing about 35% wider vision field than conventional lenses.

For higher prescriptions, we will make custom lenses for you with an additional charge.

Our lenses are manufactured by Óptica Prats, a Spanish leader in the production of ophthalmic lenses, ensuring that the lens will be of optimal quality. Additionally, all our lenses are organic and include anti-reflective and scratch-resistant treatments and provide 100% UV protection.

Our lenses come in different thicknesses and indices (1.5, 1.6, 1.67, and 1.74) for different prescriptions. If you have a higher prescription, we will choose the thinnest lenses with the highest possible index. We do not charge anything up to the 1.6 index.

Don't know your prescription?     Get a free eye exam.

Not all frames can accommodate a solar clip, and not all solar clips fit all frames. Here you will find which frames have available clips.

Of course! We have narrow, medium, and wide frames, and you can choose based on your preferences or the size of your face. Try them on at home with our virtual try-on service and discover your favorites.

Photochromic lenses are those that change color according to the sunlight, transitioning from clear to gray, for example, to protect you from UV rays.

Progressive lenses have different prescriptions in one lens. We recommend progressive lenses for people with presbyopia (farsightedness) who need to see better at different distances, up close, far away, and mid-range. Here you have everything you need to know about progressive glasses.

Lenses with a blue filter treatment block harmful high-energy visible (HEV) light emitted by screens and the sun. They provide 100% UV protection and reduce eye strain.

That is our goal! We always choose the thinnest lenses with the highest possible index whenever possible. We include 1.5 and 1.6 indices in the frame price at no additional cost.

For higher prescriptions requiring a greater index, we offer 1.67 index lenses with a €30 supplement and 1.74 index lenses with a €100 supplement.

Progressive glasses require an adaptation process to coordinate your vision with slight head movements. It sounds complicated, but it isn't. Here are some tips to help you get familiar with your new glasses as quickly as possible:

  • Spend the first few hours with your new glasses at home. Get used to the different depths in the comfort of your home.
  • Learn to look. The way you are used to looking changes since you need to follow with your head and eye movement. If you only move your eyes, you will see through the blurry areas on the sides.
  • Adjust your glasses correctly. At first, they may not be properly adjusted. To do this, it is important that you are looking through the correct part of the lens, so if you are unsure, come to our store, and we will adjust them again.
  • Give it time. Some people may see something blurry at the edge of the lenses. It can take a few days, or even a week, to get used to them. But don't worry, this is completely normal.

Lastly, you may be interested to know that at Miller & Marc, we offer a three-month guarantee on all our progressive glasses, meaning that if you don't adapt the first time, we will make new lenses with personalized adjustments to improve adaptation. And if you still can't adapt to the progressive glasses, we will offer you an alternative lens option. Ultimately, we will facilitate a product return at no cost to you.

Some call it tired vision, but its real name is presbyopia. The main cause of presbyopia is age: over the years, the eye's lens hardens due to aging. This makes it less flexible and, therefore, harder to change shape to focus on nearby images, causing these images to appear out of focus.

The transparent lens is located inside the eye, behind the colored iris. When you are younger, the lens is soft and flexible and can easily change shape, adapting to the field of vision and the distance of the objects you want to see. This allows you to focus on objects both near and far. After the age of 40, the lens becomes more rigid and cannot change shape easily.

There is no way to stop or reverse the normal aging process that causes presbyopia. However, there are methods to correct presbyopia, such as using progressive glasses.
https://www.millerandmarc.com/en/collections/progressives

There are many advantages to buying progressive glasses (https://www.millerandmarc.com/en/collections/progressives). They are ideal for people who suffer from presbyopia combined with another type of visual defect, such as myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism... as they correct all these problems in one lens. Although you can also use them if you suffer exclusively from presbyopia.

In short, progressive glasses have a "simple" function: if you want to see far away, you would do so as if looking at the horizon, that is, through the upper part of the lens. If you want to read something up close, you need to look through the lower part of the lens. Because instinctively, you would do it that way. And in the intermediate zone? There you will progressively find all the intermediate distances.

ADVANTAGES

  • You will only need one pair of glasses: with them, you can see up close, far away, and at intermediate distances.

  • They are more aesthetic than bifocals: even though progressives provide continuous vision between different zones, it is not noticeable from the outside.

  • Savings: because you have surely heard that progressives are expensive but... isn't it more expensive to buy three different pairs of glasses?

  • Forget about the problems caused by forgetting your reading glasses at home. With progressives, you will always have clear vision.

DISADVANTAGES

  • Adaptation: You have to learn to look with them. But don't worry, with digital Freeform technology, this is much easier than a few years ago.

  • At first, you may see blurry. You will need to turn your head more frequently and not just make eye movements, as this can cause dizziness. Freeform lenses improve the fields, and this effect is less noticeable.

The main difference is that while bifocal glasses only offer two zones of vision (a large one for distance vision and the lower part of the lens for near vision), progressives have an intermediate vision range.

With bifocal glasses, the person must move closer to or farther from the object to see it clearly through one of the two parts of the lens.

This mainly means additional effort for the user, which can be avoided by using progressive glasses.

There are two types of progressive lenses:

  • Standard progressive lenses.
  • Digitally manufactured or high-end progressive lenses.

Standard progressive lenses are practically obsolete. The digital progressive lenses we use at Miller & Marc are made with modern digital software, making them much more complete and customizable.

The main difference between standard progressives and digital manufacturing is in the quality of vision. Digitally manufactured lenses with Freeform technology provide a wider visual field and a smooth transition between the different parts of the lens.

Another main difference is the minimization of lateral aberrations, which are nothing more than blurry vision. How do they achieve this? With personalized digital carving that perfectly fits your needs and usage preferences.

We specialize in high-end progressive lenses: with Freeform digital technology, which has the best features on the market.

  • A visual field up to 40% wider than conventional lenses.
  • Improvements in night vision or low-light conditions.
  • Enhanced contrast: sharpen vision.
  • Enhanced color vision: maximize the optics of your lenses, providing brighter and more intense colors.

We know there is a myth that progressive glasses are expensive, but... what about buying three glasses, one for each distance? Moreover, at Miller & Marc, we couldn't sleep well if we didn't offer a fair price: what are cheap progressives, basically.

Progressive lenses are designed with multiple prescriptions within the same lens. The upper part is for long distance, the lower part focuses on short distance, and the central part is in between. So you can read that message you just received on your phone while enjoying a sunset with total clarity.

Around the age of 40, what we know as "tired eyes" appears. Presbyopia (its real name) means we need different prescriptions to see clearly at all distances. Multifocal contact lenses achieve this.

Toric lenses are contact lenses for people with astigmatism.

No. They are exclusively for daily use, so once you remove them from your eye, you should dispose of them.

Ideally, you should undergo a fitting study to determine the ideal contact lens for each eye. We will do this based on the intended use, prescription, etc.

Silicone hydrogel has certain advantages over classic hydrogel: it has much higher oxygen permeability, which allows our cornea to be more oxygenated and enables us to use the lenses for longer in a healthy way.

Additionally, they dry out less, enhancing the feeling of comfort. Silicone hydrogel is especially important in monthly replacement lenses. Daily lenses, being disposable, if they are of good quality, allow for adequate oxygenation.

The distance between the corrective lens and our eye affects the prescription, so it is common for the prescription for glasses and contact lenses to be different.

This difference is greater the higher the prescription: with prescriptions below 4 diopters, there is usually no difference between glasses and contact lenses; from 4 diopters onwards, there is.

In such matters, it is best to follow the recommendations of a specialist. They will tell us what type of contact lenses to use and if our eyes can handle intensive lens use. As long as this is the case, prolonged use of contact lenses is safe.

It's very simple. You just need to place the contact lens on the tip of your finger; if its shape is smooth, with the edges up like half a ball, it is right-side out. If the edges are outward, and the shape of the lens looks like a "dish," it is inside out and needs to be flipped.

It depends on the person and the type of lens. It is best to consult a specialist if you require more usage than you currently have.

During sleep, with the eyes closed, the supply of oxygen essential for the cornea decreases. If we also have contact lenses on, this supply is even less. Generally, you should not sleep with contact lenses.

Contact lenses are made from very permeable materials, so eye drops should not be used with them unless explicitly indicated by your optician or ophthalmologist.

Always follow the replacement schedule recommended by the lens manufacturer.

If you have conjunctivitis, you should stop using contact lenses until the treatment prescribed by your ophthalmologist is completed and the infection is fully recovered.

If you are unsure whether you used the lenses at the onset of the infection, you should replace both the contact lenses and the lens case with new ones to avoid re-infection.

Always before.

First, you should remove the contact lenses, trying not to get makeup on them.

Once you are adapted to your new contact lenses, the general recommendation is for semi-annual check-ups as long as everything functions normally and the user does not notice anything out of the ordinary. In case of discomfort, redness, or discomfort, you should schedule an appointment immediately.

All our lenses have a protective coating, but this can wear off over time. If your lenses are scratched and you want them replaced, first email us at hello@millerandmarc.com to ensure we have your prescription on file. This way, you only need to come to the store once they are made for the replacement.

Don't worry! Send us the new prescription at hello@millerandmarc.com, or if you notice your vision is failing but haven't seen a specialist yet, get a visual exam to update your prescription. How much does a pair of lenses cost?

Your glasses may not fit perfectly because they slip down your nose, the curve of the arms doesn't sit right above your ears, you feel pressure where you shouldn't, or they don't sit straight.

Don't worry, our frames are made of cellulose acetate, a malleable material that can be bent without risk of breaking (we recommend applying some heat).

Drop by any of our stores (no appointment needed) and our staff will make the necessary adjustments for free to ensure they fit perfectly. If our stores are far from you, most opticians will adjust them for free or for a small fee.

Of course, bring them to your nearest optician, and we will repair them (sometimes at no cost and other times for a small fee). Check our polishing and repair section for more information.

Absolutely, if your frames are in good condition and we can replace the lenses without breaking them, you can do so without any problem. You only need to pay for the cost of the new lenses. You can see the prices in the lens replacement section.

We work to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, which is why we have developed responsibility goals that include a code of conduct, B Corp certification, and a circularity program. Here you can find more information about our responsibility goals.

We aim for 75% of our collection to be made from responsible materials, whether biodegradable and recyclable or 100% recycled acetate. We also want to eliminate any unnecessary packaging or marketing materials, and the remaining materials will be produced with 80% sustainable materials.

Standard acetate is 100% natural in origin, but it is mixed with plasticizers that are usually chemicals. Bio acetate is a polymer extracted from wood pulp and cotton, mixed with biodegradable plasticizers to make the material 100% sustainable, in addition to being natural and 100% recyclable.

You can learn more about the materials we use at Miller & Marc here.

Miller & Marc has launched a circularity program: Reuse. We offer you the option to return your old glasses to us so we can give them a second life, or if they are too worn out, we will recycle them for you. In return, you will receive a €10 discount code for your next purchase.

Absolutely! If they are suitable for refurbishment, we will restore their original shine and sell them at a fair price. If not, you don't have to worry about anything: we will recycle them with the help of our friends at Lions Club.

The highest quality. We will ensure they are in perfect condition: polishing, shining, welding if necessary... We cannot guarantee that the glasses will be completely free of any marks indicating they have been refurbished, but they will be in perfect condition for resale at a fair price. Here you can find more information about the Reuse program.

On the Miller & Marc website, in the top right corner, there is a section called "LOG IN." From there, you can either log in if you are already a Miller & Marc user or sign up if you are not yet registered. Here is a direct link.

Very simple: go to the login section of the website and select the option "Forgot your password?" Here is a direct link.

In any email you receive from us, there will be a button at the bottom that allows you to authorize us to remove you from all our databases.
