Craftsmanship

Since day one, we've put the spotlight on what we believe is a fundamental part of making our glasses: artisanal craftsmanship. Our designs demand special attention, and that's exactly how we like it.

Exceptional polishing

To give our frames that extra-special touch, we place them in wooden barrels filled with pumice stone chips, beech wood, and polishing paste. While ordinary frames spend 8-10 hours in the barrel, ours enjoy a 72-hour spa treatment. Yes, polishing them longer means we produce fewer, but trust us, each frame comes out with a spectacular shine. And to top it off, we hand polish each one. Pure luxury!

Over time, it’s normal for your glasses to lose some of their initial shine or get slightly scratched. Don’t worry, we offer a polishing service to make them look as good as new again.

Durable hinges

Our metal components, like hinges, screws, and the core of the temples, are crafted by OBE, a German company with over 70 years of experience in making metal parts for glasses. While standard hinges have only 2 holes, ours boast 5 to ensure super durable fastening. Plus, we use anti-drop screws coated with Teflon so you never lose them.

Traditional rivets

Our rivets are the real deal, not just for decoration. They are hand-embedded and go through both the front of the frame and the core of the temples, ensuring a solid and resistant structure. Most frames today use heat rivets, forcing the hinge in place. When the design allows, we prefer the classic technique of pin drilling, which involves making two small holes in the front and the temples. Sure, it takes more time and skill, but this means if the hinge gets damaged, we can easily replace it. No more disposable glasses!
